Welcome to my food blog! If you love food and travelling, then you have come to the right place!

I will start with a little introduction about me.

Oh! How I love food! I'm like the rat in ratatouille. I like cooking as well even though I'm average at best. I'm one of those people whose mood depends on a full satisfied stomach. When I lived in Tokyo, Japan I had no money and some days I ate just rice! I ended up sobbing like a baby and asking my bf, at the time, to buy me a bento box. If I eat my favourite food, you're sure to see me in a happy mood.

So here I am putting my love of food in a blog. I first saw my friend doing a food blog, then I read Julie and Julia. To be honest, I didn't get passed page 100 as the author seemed a bit of a cow.

In this blog, I will talk about different foods from around the world and you will read about my (maybe awful) attempt to make some of them. Enjoy! ^^

Dakgalbi in Chuncheon

In Diagon alley ... I mean Gakgalbi alley.

A few weeks ago I went to Chuncheon with my friend to try their famous dakgalbi. Dakgalbi is chicken, which cooked on a hot plate in front of you with hot sauce, rice cake and vegetables. Aprons are a must as it splatters everywhere!  It is delicious! I heard it is Korean university students food as you get a lot of food for your money

When we arrived at Chuncheon we headed straight to the Gakgalbi street. There are 5 of these streets around Chuncheon but this one is in the city and I think most famous. It is just behind Myeong-dong. The street was nice. Paul said it looked like Diagon alley in Harry Potter. All the resturants served the same dish, so we had to choose one that looked the best. We eventually chose one that looked busy and had famous peoples signatures on the wall (so it must be good!).

We were lucky we went when we did as 2 minutes later there was a 20 person queue. At least this proves we chose a good resturant. If people are queuing for this resturant, when there are 10 resturants serving the same food around it, then it must be good. We just managed to finish every last peiece. It was so good. If you go to Chuncheon then go to this resturant!! ><

At the start....

Cooking

Waiting....

Yum!

Best dakgalbi restaurant!
