Welcome to my food blog! If you love food and travelling, then you have come to the right place!

I will start with a little introduction about me.

Oh! How I love food! I'm like the rat in ratatouille. I like cooking as well even though I'm average at best. I'm one of those people whose mood depends on a full satisfied stomach. When I lived in Tokyo, Japan I had no money and some days I ate just rice! I ended up sobbing like a baby and asking my bf, at the time, to buy me a bento box. If I eat my favourite food, you're sure to see me in a happy mood.

So here I am putting my love of food in a blog. I first saw my friend doing a food blog, then I read Julie and Julia. To be honest, I didn't get passed page 100 as the author seemed a bit of a cow.

In this blog, I will talk about different foods from around the world and you will read about my (maybe awful) attempt to make some of them. Enjoy! ^^

Kimchi making

I decided to learn to make kimchi this year as I think I might actually miss it when I leave. I booked to go on a group trip fo 25,000won. At the beginning the trip was for up north and you got 2kg of kimchi. Sadly for me, the location was changed and you only got half of the orginal amount of kimchi. Though they told us we could try on tradtional Korean clothes (which I had already done at orientation!).

Before

I didn't know anywhere there but most people went by themselves and we all bonded over how bloody cold it was.

I don't have much t write as we didn't actually make any kimchi. As we all found out the paste and the cabbbage takes hours to prepare. All we could do was put the paste on to the cabbage and watch a demostration on to prepare the paste and cabbage at home. It was not worth 25,000won!

This trip was booked with WINK on facebook.

Kimchi!!

Demo!

I will post the recipe on here later on when I try it at home!
